Powerhouse Animation is looking for a Production Accountant to be a part of our growing team. This position will be based in our Austin studio and will report directly to our CEO and COO.

Position Summary:

The Production Accountant will be responsible for performing all professional Accountant assignments for the studio, as well as be an Excel guru, have a deep understanding of Google Sheets, and have the confidence to effectively communicate to C-Level management. This person will become our Master of Spreadsheets, including managing our fiscal calendar, payroll projector, and job costing. Our ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running and master our own tools and systems.

Position Requirements:

-Accounting or Business degree required

-Excel & Google Sheets Mastery

-Deep understanding of Quickbooks

-Take control attitude and ability to own this position

-Manage our Payroll Projector

-Manage our internal Job Costing for all studio projects

-Ability to build out new systems for sales projecting and tracking

-Provide clear and concise advise on how to manage all things related to this role

-Take over all bookkeeping responsibilities

-Must love number crunching all day long

-Ability to report on foreseen and unforeseen problems and issues

-Audit all studio budgets
