We are looking to hire a Senior Accountant our team at Fourth! This individual will be responsible for handling all daily accounting operations in accordance with GAAP compliance standards and providing accounting support to local departments. In addition, this position will work closely with the Assistant Controller and Controller to assist with process improvements and globalization.

What You’ll Be Doing . . .

• Manage monthly close for designated business units including balance sheet analysis, journal entries, accounting reconciliations, and variance analysis & reporting utilizing NetSuite and Excel
• Provide technical accounting guidance to local departments, finance, and the business, as questions, issues and new guidance arise
• Assist in annual audit processes
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements for reporting and closing procedures in accordance with GAAP
• Provide guidance/mentorship to junior staff members
• Ad-hoc duties as needed 

What You’ll Need to Have . . .

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, BBA or equivalent
• 5+ years accounting experience
• Proficient in ERP software
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Strong analytical skills
• Available for a hybrid in-office/remote schedule in Austin TX
• CPA preferred
