Senior Analyst, Business Operations & Strategy

The Bungalo brand is being built within our parent company, Amherst Residential, which has a lot of experience acquiring and rehabbing single family homes at scale. In 5 years we’ve acquired, rehabbed and sold 20k single family homes to institutional investors across 20 major US metros. All powered by proprietary technology, data and boots on the ground.

Bungalo is seeking a Senior Analyst for the Strategic Finance and Business Operations team. The Senior Analyst will be a cross-functional player working on strategic projects across every piece of the value chain for Bungalo, from initial home acquisition to post-sale warranties. He/she will also play a role in designing analytics packages and using data to support and drive business decisions.

Our ideal candidate has a “roll up your sleeves” attitude and attacks problems thoughtfully and head-on. He/she is hungry, inquisitive, proactive, energetic and driven. The role will not only require an analytical mindset, but also an operations focus to execute on initiatives – ownership from ideation, decision making, to implementation. We’re looking for someone who can wear lots of hats and be the ultimate utility player.

Depending on candidate’s experience, we’re open to an associate-level position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with business units across Bungalo to identify problems, design solutions, and drive operational changes
• Lead strategic and financial business reviews, including budgeting, planning, and board materials
• Communicate findings to senior management and to the broader organization
• Provide analytical rigor and bring a strategic mindset to operational initiatives
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to better understand drivers of business success and key growth levers
• Develop and monitor critical success metrics, and communicate actionable insights to relevant stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in business operations, analytics, and/or strategy
• Prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or venture capital; experience at high-growth companies a plus
• Strong analytical skills and with data driven approach to problem solving
• Team player, but also a self-starter and capable of driving business results without significant supervision
• Experience and confidence to project manage across cross-functional teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Excel and data modeling skills
• SQL proficiency a plus
• Willingness to travel as required for projects
