We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our rapidly expanding team of seasoned finance professionals. The Staff Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager and play an important role in helping shape the accounting team as the Company grows. This role presents an incredible learning opportunity and will include exposure to a variety of accounting processes and business process optimization in a global, fast-paced, and growing environment. If you were working for us today, you would be:

  • Perform a variety of month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Assist with financial statement preparation, external audits, and other special projects
  • Perform variance analysis and review General Ledger to ensure GAAP compliance and accurate reporting
  • Perform technical accounting research and assist with the preparation of accounting memos
  • Drive process improvements and documentation as well as automation efforts to streamline accounting operations while improving the quality of financial reporting and enhancing internal controls
  • Own various aspects of Cost Accounting
  • Assist with accounting integration for acquired companies as needed
  • Assist with AP, Treasury, and Revenue accounting activities as needed

You might be a fit for our team if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
  • 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
  • CPA or CPA candidate (preferred)
  • Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Experience working at a public accounting firm or technology company (preferred)
  • Excellent Excel skills and ability to quickly learn new financial systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Exceptional communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Sense of urgency, hands-on approach, and “go-getter” attitude
