DISCO is looking for an IT Service Desk Intern who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service, thrives on solving complex technical issues and is excited to deepen their experience in a corporate IT environment. This is a full-time undergraduate-level internship position for the summer of 2020.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver exceptional, customer service focused, front line technical support to our growing organization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with laptops, networks, AV, printers and more.
• Manage user provisioning and de-provisioning including accounts, equipment, data handoff, etc.
• Manage and ensure accuracy of our hardware and software inventory.
• Assist in network maintenance, upgrades and installations.
• Assist with day to day management of Windows 10 and macOS devices using Intune and Jamf.
• Assist in the management of cloud applications including GSuite, Zoom, Okta and more.
• Take the initiative in identifying and improving internal IT processes.
• Maintain and develop detailed documentation for internal and external knowledge bases.

Who You Are

• Pursuing a degree in Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields
• Basic knowledge and familiarity with macOS, TCP/IP networking, or Windows.
• Basic Knowledge and familiarity with macOS command-line or Powershell.
• Basic understanding of computer and computer components
• Open to learn and to collaborate with others
• Previous customer service experience
