As a Recruiting Coordinator Intern at Cognite, you will collaborate with the VP of HR, Recruiters and hiring managers to support our hiring efforts as we grow our organization. You will provide support to the staffing function in various, customer-service aspects of employment, such as coordinating/scheduling all phases of interviews, curating a positive candidate experience, and ensuring that all candidates are accounted for while onsite/remote and interviews are executed as seamlessly as possible.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with our VP of HR to help enhance the candidate and employee experience from application to first day
• Manage and track candidate and employee information in our Applicant Tracking System and internal HR tools - including, but not limited to: research, applicant tracking, workflow, communication, data, analytics, reporting, contact details, etc
• Own interview scheduling process and communicate logistics to both candidates and hiring teams
• Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to improve on recruiting process and efficiency
• Support various hiring projects, such as strategize sourcing talent pipeline (via LinkedIn, Facebook, and alternative search techniques) and talent inclusion and diversity strategies
• Manage candidate reimbursement process
• Prepare onboarding materials, messaging, and coordination of global orientation

Who You Are

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or above in Business, Human Resources or related fields
• Available for a full-time or part-time 3-month internship in the fall (start date in August preferred)
• Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced work environment, prioritize multiple functions and tasks, and manage time efficiently
• Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with a desire to contribute to the organization's reputation and success
• Exceptional customer service focus, including attention to producing quality results while building positive relationships
• Experience with recruiting information/applicant tracking systems or similar database entry
• Proficiency in productivity applications such as Google Docs, Calendar, and Gmail or similar software
• Experience with research/sourcing tools such as LinkedIn, other social media, or technical forums is a plus
