Summer Intern - Brand & Design - Marketing at Q2 (Austin, TX or Remote)
We are seeking a Design Intern to join the Brand & Design group within our fast-paced Marketing team. The Summer Internship Program is 12-weeks long (May 25th - August 13th) and all positions are paid hourly with an average work week of 40 hours. In addition to your daily work, you will be given the opportunity for weekly classroom trainings with Sr. Leadership, activities with other Q2 interns and the opportunity to present to the Executive Leadership team at the end of the program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in turning marketing objectives into compelling deliverables across multiple platforms
Concept, design and produce a variety of deliverables such as ads, brochures, newsletters, tradeshow graphics, product documentation, PowerPoint presentations, social media graphics, and overall brand and digital experiences
Create documentation based off of existing templates
Participate in and collaborate on marketing branding exercises and exploring how to push our brand to the next level
Create storyboards, motion graphics and animation effects
Participate as a contributor to multi-faceted team that includes a creative manager, senior designers, project management, product marketers, content writers, and videographers/editors.
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
Pursuing Degree in Fine Arts or Arts, preferably in Communication Arts, Graphic Design, Animation; with an emphasis on motion graphics
Previous experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Animate, After Effects, Premiere, and Character Animator)
Must have a strong grounding in design principles
Exceptional work ethic, highly efficient and accurate
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to operate independently and proactively with minimal up-front instruction and take ownership of work product; driven, diligent, and self-motivated
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills with a customer service focus
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
