Summer Intern - Release Management
Q2 is seeking an energetic, innovative, “out of the box” thinker with a passion for software and technology to join our 2021 Summer Intern Program as a Release Management Intern working closely with the Q2 Development Program Management Team assisting with process improvement and process documentation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Solicit business requirements, create process flow diagrams and process documentation.
- Present proposed designs for automation and process changes to the team and apply peer and SME feedback.
- implement approved changes and work with stakeholders to validate results.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings.
- Effectively communicate issues and proposed resolutions.
- Availability to work remotely and be responsive on corporate chat and videoconferencing platforms throughout the work week.
- Learn technologies used by the team such as Jira, Confluence, PBI.
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Pursuing a Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Basic skills in SQL, Microsoft Project, Flowchart & diagraming tools.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to learn new technologies.
- Exceptional attention to detail, work ethic, highly efficient, and accurate.
- Ability to function independently and proactively with minimal up-front instruction.
- Thirst for knowledge - able to research and find answers to solve challenges.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be trustworthy and discreet with confidential information.
