The Day to Day
The Director of Partner Marketing/Agency Partner Program is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of all partner marketing initiatives. You and your team will design, develop, and implement marketing programs to help recruit and enable effective channel partners, build powerful marketing and sales campaigns that increase agency partners' and their clients' awareness and adoption of WP Engine products.
You will develop sales tools and content for partners to use in the field, generate demand for the partner channel, work closely with the WP Engine sales team and accelerate the growth of the business.
What you'll be responsible for
  • Leading Partner Marketing, owning our Agency Partner Program, managing partner marketing operations, hiring and training a highly engaged partner marketing team
  • Driving marketing strategy from partner acquisition and enablement to lifecycle growth and co-marketing with top tier partners.
  • Developing marketing campaigns to acquire and engage agency partners, analyzing results and making recommendations for future improvements
  • Developing lifecycle marketing programs targeted to partners to increase partner engagement and raise awareness of our products
  • Driving agencies to our Agency Partner Portal and building out the portal library of material for partners with self-serve campaign material, case study and MDF application opportunities to ensure all partners receive value from being part of the program
  • Working closely with top tier partners to develop joint go-to-market strategies and co-marketing demand generation programs with shared target audiences.
  • Identifying and developing effective marketing and sales collateral that can be used for effective co selling
  • Building and managing the partner MDF budget and application review process together with Partner Operations to ensure that it is spent efficiently with a measured return on investment

Your Expertise and Passion
  • Experienced. You have proven experience in the marketing technology space with a seasoned background in channel marketing and are proficient in developing teams to acquire, on-board, engage and accelerate digital agency relationships and increase channel sell-through.
  • Cloud, DXP and CMS proficiency (a plus). You have a knowledge of cloud based SaaS and Digital Experience Platforms as well as Content Management Solutions.
  • Passionate. You are a fan of the brand we're building. You crave responsibility and want to build on our vision for the brand.
  • Comfortable being accountable for measurable results
  • Values driven. You believe in and will make decisions based on our core values.
  • Extraordinary teammate. You have extensive experience working with global business units, product marketing, sales and enjoy developing joint solutions on behalf of partnerships.
  • Self-starter. You're willing to take action and able to thrive in a dynamic, constantly changing work environment.
