Forcepoint is seeking a Director of Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Marketing to lead product marketing, field marketing, events, demand generation, analyst and public relations and channel marketing for Forcepoint’s critical infrastructure businesses. This leader will be a key driver in the development of product positioning and messaging, solution, sales and channel enablement content, and strategic marketing programs to drive awareness, thought leadership and demand for the CIP market. This position works closely with various sales and product teams to understand product, business and marketing goals, and translate those goals into an integrated marketing plan. Our ideal candidate will have a multi-disciplinary track record of marketing effectiveness in support of a CIP-related business.

 

Essential Functions

 

  • Develop Forcepoint’s overall CIP vertical marketing strategy - define overall goals, objectives, and tactics that will drive success vs goals
  • Develop and define ICS/CIP vision and messaging to coincide with Forcepoint strategic vision
  • Work with key marketing stakeholders to establish go-to-market strategies and plans that encompass product launches, lead generation, public relations and social media and determine the most effective strategies to meet revenue goals
  • Work with the corporate marketing functions to ensure alignment and drive leverage when appropriate
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the wider global marketing team
  • Partner with the Forcepoint sales management team to identify and formulate targeted demand gen and other marketing programs; be a strategic partner to sales and provide thought leadership that influences the CIP strategic plan
  • Manage pipeline review process to ensure the CIP business has proper pipeline coverage for all business units and sales teams

Education and Experience

 

  • 10 - 15 years of experience in marketing or related field
  • 5+ years plus experience in critical infrastructure protection or ICS security marketing and/or business development, with a proven track record of across product marketing, field marketing and demand creation disciplines, in a CIP/ICS context
  • Experience in planning, executing and optimizing B2G and B2B demand generation and marketing programs
  • Demonstrated experience in brining enterprise security solutions to market
  • Excellent people skills especially working to align teams and multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple programs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and outstanding presentation skills for a variety of audiences including executives, partners and customers 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

We are located in the North Austin area by The Domain, off of Braker between Mopac and 183. Our office patio overlooks Quarry Lake.
