About the Role
Hearth is looking to rapidly grow our demand generation engine by bringing on an experienced leader. This role will be responsible for owning & optimizing our current marketing programs while expanding into new channels. You will own everything from agency relationships to creative development in current channels. With channel expansion, you will own the entire flow from budgeting to scaling winning bets. A successful candidate will have experience building/running a powerhouse performance marketing program and testing + scaling into new channels. This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing team, continue to build a first-class demand gen engine, and build out a team within marketing.
What you'll do:

  • Own, optimize, and communicate results from current paid channels including Facebook, Google, programmatic, email prospecting and more
  • Own agency relationships, driving for maximum ROI
  • Test and find success in new digital paid channels like YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit and more
  • Identify and build out new digital channels that have strong growth potential within the home improvement space
  • Build upon our data driven approach to our demand generation strategy using structured A/B testing, funnel analysis, and sales data
  • Own creative development and success in collaboration with online tools and designers
  • Build and test creative & messaging around new features, products and branding, particularly our new payments collection and contracts solution in the short term
  • Make recommendations that impact landing page and funnel optimization for the business development, sales, and marketing teams
  • Partner with sales leaders to tie results to sales performance
  • Work with marketing and finance leaders to determine optimal spend and media mix across digital channels
  • Opportunities to build out a Demand Gen team within our growing marketing team


What we're looking for:

  • 5-7+ years of work experience in marketing or a high-growth tech company with exposure to marketing technology or campaign creation, or an ad agency with experience implementing and optimizing media budgets
  • Experience and willingness to dig in and get your hands dirty while we build out the demand generation team
  • Metrics-driven in your decision-making, always striving to improve existing processes
  • You approach problems in a structured manner
  • Extremely detail oriented with an ability to understand data and act on it
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to internal stakeholders
  • A naturally, curious learner
  • Willingness to work on your own projects and be responsible for results
  • Experience working with sales teams
  • Competitive spirit, high energy, self-motivated team player that wants more than a 9-5 job
  • Experience hiring, managing, and building teams


Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of the home improvement space
  • Experience in Salesforce, Marketo and Outreach
  • Experience running landing page tests and funnel optimization
  • Experience working with designers on creative development for marketing campaigns


Location
We are hiring for this position in our Austin, Texas office, but are currently operating in a remote capacity due to COVID-19.
