About the Revenue Team
This position is part of OJO Labs Revenue Team. The mission of the Revenue Team is to drive revenue growth for the company by getting more consumers to work with our guided marketplace and realizing revenue from them via real estate referrals, mortgage and other ancillary services. The team consists of members focused on consumer acquisition, markets & mortgage, performance analytics, and program management. We aim to find the balance between the needs, wants, and goals of consumers and need to drive successful business outcomes for OJO Labs. We influence with deep, quantitative analyses, wrapped in the context of qualitative insights. Every member on the team has their own domain knowledge and subject matter expertise, creating the opportunity and responsibility for ownership and deep collaboration on company-wide initiatives.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Director of Performance Marketing with a strong track record for developing a deep understanding of consumers and acting on it. You will be part of a team responsible for conceptualizing and executing consumer acquisition and engagement campaigns across a diverse mix of channels including paid acquisition, SEO, content marketing, and partnerships. As an experienced Director of Performance Marketing, you are uniquely positioned to understand consumer wants & needs along with the capabilities of OJO products & services to drive performance marketing campaigns to acquire high quality consumers at scale that would utilize OJO products and services..
What you'll do:
- Lead the strategy and execution of performance marketing with a focus on Google SEM and diversify across other channels like Display, Social, Bing, etc.
- Work closely with SEO, Finance, Product, Analytics and Engineering teams to model and create acquisition forecasts, which will be used to project company growth.
- Conduct analysis across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics.
- Continually improve performance, efficiency, processes, and campaign channel goals to increase ROI and hit lead targets within budget.
- Manage annual budgets of over $25M across variety of paid channels
- Manage employees, consultants, vendors and agencies as needed
What we need from you:
- An individual that flourishes in a fast-paced environment, holistically looks at problems for smart solutions, loves testing campaigns for optimal results, is not intimidated by deep analysis, and can partner with multiple teams at once.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, team building, and support skills while having the ability to clearly communicate complex workflows, dependencies, and tradeoffs in both speech and writing.
- Must be a Google Ads expert with hands-on experience managing large campaigns and ability to analyze, optimize, A/B test, write ad copy and forecast.
- Proficient with Google Analytics and additionally have experience using one or more analytics tools like Looker, PowerBI, Tableau, etc
- 8+ years of hands-on SEM experience, especially Google Ads expertise
- Experienced with managing employees, consultants, vendors and agencies as needed
