Chive Media Group is looking for a rock star to be our E-Commerce Social Marketing Manager. This individual will manage multiple paid and organic social channels for the Chive Media Group e-commerce brands. The focus of this role is on brand building and development, customer engagement and driving high-converting traffic to online stores.

Day-to-day tasks include developing and executing paid and organic social strategy which includes partnering with shared design and copywriting resources to develop engaging, shareable, conversion-driving content for both paid and organic social platforms, as well as creating custom content from scratch, meaning familiarity and comfortability with photography, photoshop and creative writing is a must. This individual will also be responsible for paid budget management as well as all analytics and performance reporting related to paid and organic social channels.

Job Description:

  • The E-Commerce Social Marketing Manager will directly manage all social networks for our E-Commerce brand - The Chivery
  • Administration includes budget management, content strategy, brand development, and reporting.
  • The E-Commerce Social Marketing Manager is a highly motivated individual with a passion for creating thoughtful, shareable, and on-brand content that drives engagement and conversions.
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community and coordinate with internal customer care when issues need escalation.
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information, as well as following new trends and emerging technologies in the social space to keep all brands up-to-date and relevant to the audience.
  • Collaborate with other E-Commerce team members (design, merchandising, site management) to provide a positive user experience for social followers that results in merchandise sales.
  • Working with other social media manager’s across Chive Media Group’s other brands including theCHIVE, CHIVE TV and Chive Charities.
  • Requirements:

  • Experience with paid social is a must.
  • Deep understanding of retention and acquisition marketing tactics
  • Familiarity with core marketing KPIs
  • Candidate must have theCHIVE in their DNA.
  • Must be funny, witty and competitive.
  • 3+ years of experience managing E-commerce social channels.
  • FB, Twitter, IG, Snapchat, Youtube, Pinterest - all musts!
  • Strong analytics background.
  • Strength in copy writing, image editing and general design principles.
  • Some management experience is a plus.
