About the Position: Rev is looking for an Email Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team. As our first full-time email marketer, you’ll shape Rev’s product marketing email strategy and communicate our services, products and features to more than 100,000 customers.

Who we’re looking for: You will be the subject matter expert at Rev in email and lifecycle marketing, and have excellent analytical and communication skills. You should be comfortable developing a strategy, as well as executing on that strategy by building out campaigns, writing email copy, performing A/B tests, and analyzing and sharing results. This is a hands-on role that will collaborate with numerous teams.

What you’ll do: You’ll be responsible for the strategy, planning, and delivery of customer engagement and retention email campaigns. You will execute on email programs to increase user engagement and growth across our products and services in collaboration with other channel and program owners. You’ll build campaigns on our email platforms, measuring success through data analysis, and creating scalable processes and best practices around the email channel.

This position reports to our Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end execution of customer email campaigns, including creating the experimental framework, launching campaigns and analyzing results.
  • Maintain the performance and health of the customer email channel (i.e. audience segmentation, send times, list hygiene, and deliverability).
  • Create and maintain the email marketing calendar.
  • Build automated, multi-touch nurture programs for several audiences across the customer lifecycle.
  • Create emails for product launches, feature announcements and blog updates in collaboration with our Content Manager, Design, Product and Support.
  • Communicate email campaign insights to management and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience building email marketing strategies from the ground up and executing
  • Experience working with email tools, CRMs (e.g. Salesforce), and marketing automation tools (e.g. Marketo).
  • Demonstrated understanding of customer journey and life cycles.
  • Analytical mindset and creative thinker to strategize and execute on A/B tests
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Design, and Support.
  • Great communication skills. Capable of translating data-driven insights into actionable recommendations.
