Events Marketing Specialist - (Freelance)
Rooster Teeth is seeking an experienced freelance events marketing specialist to help lead the marketing and promotion of its tentpole live event RTX Austin. The ideal candidate will have experience in promoting large live events such as conventions and music festivals, and will be experienced in driving ticket sales through digital channels, social media, community outreach and engagement, grassroots campaigns, and street team activities. This position will work with the Rooster Teeth marketing and events team to create marketing plans and promotional calendars, and execute against key marketing beats leading up to the event.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years in events marketing experience, preferably working with pop culture/entertainment conventions, music festivals, or comedy festivals.
- Proven experience in the use of multiple marketing channels to drive ticket sales, including digital media, email marketing, social media, community outreach, and more.
- Local to Austin and available to travel to the Rooster Teeth offices as needed.
