The Position:

As our Graphic Designer & Video Editor, you are a creative visionary. You are passionate about design, typography and visual branding. You are known for your ability to take big picture ideas and produce engaging designs and content.

Working with Skaled’s marketing team, you will be expected to design a wide variety of content including presentations, infographics, video, ad campaigns, and digital and tradeshow graphics. Video editing and assisting in video production is also a key part of the role.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to quickly deliver engaging designs that are consistent with the Skaled brand and voice

• Work hand-in-hand with the marketing team to create clear narratives

• Design and create content through all channels including brand, presentations, infographics, ad campaigns, digital and tradeshow graphics

• Identify and keep up with design trends

• Confidently speak up and contribute new ideas for designs and content

• Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management and archiving project media

Requirements:

• 2+ years professional experience in graphic design and video editing

• Strong technical expertise in editing, video production and graphic design

• Knowledge of digital design, including responsive design, websites, email, and social media

• Proficiency with video editing tools such as Premiere Pro or Final Cut X, After Effects not necessary but is a plus

• Previous experience in a startup environment

• Strong attention to detail

• Great typography skills

• Outstanding creativity and problem-solving skills

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

• Self-disciplined and have the ability to multi-task

• Excellent time management/organizational skills

• High level of motivation and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
