Head of Product Marketing

As RigUp’s Head of Product Marketing, you’ll lead a team positioning and messaging current and new solutions and work with partners across the organization to launch and refine new and existing products and services. This strategic product marketing role reports into the Head of Product.
What you'll be doing:
- Customer insights and persona definition - Drive customer research, develop and evolve customer personas and leverage these insights to drive sales, influence product and represent the voice of the customer internally
- Positioning and messaging - Own the positioning for RigUp’s different customer segments and solutions and partner with Sales, Marketing and Operations to create a cohesive customer narrative
- Go-to-market strategy and planning - Partner with sales enablement and marketing to weave product releases into consistent and impactful stories to drive customer growth and retention
- Cross-functional partner to product, sales and marketing - Lead solution naming, the tracking and sharing of competitive intelligence, and establish feedback loops to improve and refine personas, positioning and GTM
- Lead and coach the product marketing team - Enable your team of product marketing managers to think strategically and successfully execute.
What you should have:
- 8+ years of substantial cross-functional, customer-centric experience in product marketing, business strategy, or general management
- Strong background working with sales and product teams to message and position both products and services
- Familiarity and comfort with problem framing, making strategic business decisions and presenting to senior leadership
- Experience leading the development of company positioning and business line/service offering development and naming
- Experience managing and mentoring a team with varying levels of experience
- Collaborative teammate who enjoys working in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
- Background in B2B SaaS, marketplace business or the energy sector a plus
