Khoros is seeking a smart, ambitious and motivated person for the Marketing Coordinator role. This position will assist across Demand Gen marketing and the events team. The Coordinator will provide support across marketing programs in the areas of email, social, paid media, content development, and the production and management of the events and marketing programs that promote the Khoros brand and drive demand. The Marketing Coordinator will report to the Director or Demand Generation + Events.

 

Job Duties

  • Support the Demand Gen team across marketing programs
    • Assist with the compilation of digital campaign tracking and reporting (Google Analytics, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Salesforce), and contribute research & analysis.
    • Update and optimize ads within Facebook Ads Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
    • Assist with social marketing efforts, including social moderation/community management, writing ad copy while following brand voice guidelines and maintaining a consistent Instagram publishing schedule.
    • Schedule social media content and assist with social calendar planning.
    • Support the team in project management of marketing program development, utilizing project management workflow tool, collaborating with design team for creative development, product marketing and brand marketing for content development.

 

  • Support the Events Team with event logistics, this includes but is not limited to:
  • Manage and respond to all Events Email Inbox inquiries
  • Manage and update all internal communication platforms around our events
  • And other support roles and tasks as they come up!

Minimum Requirements:

  • You are extremely passionate about marketing and looking for more exposure across marketing areas -- digital (social, display, email), events, content, strategy, partnerships
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in hospitality, marketing, business, communications or related field. 
  • You have some experience in event planning or marketing (personally or professionally).
  • You are maniacally focused on details, highly organized and have proven project management skills. You love spreadsheets and calendars.
  • You are an excellent communicator, and people have complimented you on your communication skills.
  • Foundational understanding of social media and digital marketing tactics and KPIs
  • Strong familiarity with key social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn.
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to interpret data and notice trends.
  • Ability to add strategic input throughout the course of a project.
  • Ability to write social copy.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize. 
  • Proven ability to learn new tools and software quickly.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Skilled with Excel.
  • You get creative & think strategically, exercising both the right & left sides of your brain!
  • You are a research pro! You know where and how to search for event-related venues and vendors, not only domestically but globally. 
  • You work efficiently and you are dependable. 
  • Have a sense of humor, positive attitude, and passion for business.
