As a Paid B2B Marketing Specialist, you will facilitate and optimize all paid search efforts for Cart.com brand, products and services. The Paid Search Specialist is responsible for campaign management across pay-per-click advertising platforms, which includes: campaign creation, strategic approach, performance analysis, optimization, reporting, and forecasting. The Paid Search Specialist is expected to work collaboratively with a cross-functional team to deliver against the goals for the advertising campaigns and report on performance to internal stakeholders.


This role works closely with the Product Marketing Manager to ensure timeliness of campaigns and new products and features as well as the Social Media Coordinator on content planning. 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage and implement campaigns across key paid channels 
  • Optimizing and developing new and existing campaigns 
  • Working in-line with business objectives 
  • Being a part of planning and implementing the brand acquisition strategy 
  • Strong working knowledge in paid media channels including paid search, paid social and display 
  • Analyze, report on and maximize paid search performance 
  • Test landing pages, creative and retargeting 
  • Maintain solid relationships with affiliate marketing lead on Cart.com Corporate Marketing team 
  • Email marketing, monitoring email campaigns 
  • Working closely with the wider paid and digital team 
  • Working closely with the Content Marketing team including Product Marketing lead 

Experience:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a digital marketing role. 
  • Experience in the following ad platforms: Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads (including Google Ads Editor and Microsoft Advertising Editor). 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). 
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics. 
  • Experience with managing advertising budgets of at least $10k/month. 
  • Ability to analyze and interpret marketing data/KPIs and evaluate paid media performance. 
  • Ability to collaborate well with a cross-functional team and communicate performance effectively with stakeholders. 
  • Knowledge of digital advertising industry, including current trends and best practices. 
  • Strong project and time management skills.

  • The following are preferred but not required: Search Ads 360, Google Data Studio, Ad copywriting, Tableau, Salesforce/MarketingCloud, Canva, Convertr. 
  • Industry Certs: Google Ads, Google Analytics, SA 350, Microsoft Ads, and Facebook Blueprint.

Our headquarters is located in Austin, Tx at the address listed. The majority of our roles are flexible hybrid for employees who live within the cities where we have offices and remote for employees who are not located in those cities.
