RigUp is seeking an experienced Product Marketer to help bring our products to market in a way that creates added value for our community and empowers our own operations internally. 

The ideal candidate is driven by customer success and delivers go-to-market strategies that help to enable success through strong product adoption. You’ll work with a fast-paced, self-directed, cross-functional team to drive the continued growth of our B2B & B2C marketplace.

What You'll Do

• Conduct customer research through interviews, shadowing sessions, surveys, and on-site visits to build a thorough understanding of our users’ values, pain points, and product needs

• Ensure alignment across marketing, sales, and customer success teams by thoroughly communicating product team initiatives in a timely and cohesive manner

• Develop and drive customized go-to-market strategies for each release through effective project management and strong leadership

• Define user personas and create audience-specific positioning and messaging for new products

• Work closely with the Sales team to provide messaging and product-specific collateral 

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of product marketing experience

• Early stage product development experience

• Exceptional communication skills: written, verbal, and visual

• Experience leading and motivating a cross-functional team

• Strong presentation skills - both developing and delivering 

• Passion for solving customer problems through products

• Demonstrated experience with webinars and product demos

• Ability to become an expert on our products and competitors 

• Exceptional project management skills

• Strong analytical skills and experience with setting up multi-variable tests

• Experience with post-release adoption strategy 

• Demonstrated quantitative and qualitative customer research and analysis

• Demonstrated ability to work closely with product, marketing, design, and customer service teams

• Self-starter with with the ability to develop scalable processes for a growing organization 

• Positive attitude, can-do mentality, collaborative leader

• Ability to balance multiple projects at the same time

• Self-driven and motivated to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Ability to act decisively

• Ability to quickly learn and use new software to get the job done
