Product Marketing Manager
We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager who will support our Education Services portfolio in the design and execution of key Go To Market initiatives for Blackbaud University. This individual will participate in strategy and development of new offers in addition to supporting existing offers. Key initiatives include evaluating/ quantifying market and market opportunity, pricing, sku management, sales enablement, development of sales assets, market segmentation, reporting and launches. This individual will need to work cross-functionally and effectively engage the Education Services team, Demand Generation, Sales, Customer Support, Corporate Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure market growth and customer retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Education Services team as lead for product marketing
- Strategize and implement the next generation of outcome based Blackbaud University offers
- Collaborate on a marketing plan for Education Services, including market sizing, segmentation, key plays and strategies for increasing market share and retaining/expanding existing customers.
- Understand the competitive dynamics of targeting, positioning, pricing, packaging and differentiation for assigned portfolio
- Manage Blackbaud University's presence in product materials as part of the services portfolio
- Contribute to Blackbaud University Offer strategy -stand alone and bundling efforts
- Drive value and overall bundling of Blackbaud University with existing Software offers
- Drive inclusion of Blackbaud University into new offers
- Create Product Marketing content for Blackbaud University and work Blackbaud University content into the solution portfolio
Experience and Skills:
- 2-5 years of software Product Marketing experience
- Experience and a track record of driving adoption, growth, retention and results
- BS/BA required, MBA advantageous
- Exceptional ability to write and create product content; able to write quickly and concisely for non-technical audiences
- Proven influencing skills with senior leadership, working cross-functionally and with clients/prospects
- Self starter, creative thinker, excellent listener and communicator
- Proven record of thriving in fast-paced and matrixed environment
- Prior experience working with education services a plus
- An understanding of the nonprofit market and Blackbaud’s solutions a plus
