We are seeking a Proofreader whose primary role will be to perform Quality Control for customer marketing campaigns. If you have exceptional proofreading skills and a collection of red pens and style guides, we'd love to talk to you!

Responsibilities:

• Proofreading marketing campaign copy utilizing industry knowledge to ensure that the final output is accurate and complete

• Reading for errors in content, spelling, punctuation, and grammar

• Providing writing support for special projects as needed

• Proactive in researching all copy, questioning all details

• Perform under tight deadlines to ensure complete accuracy in the final released copy

• Ensure that client style as well as in-house style guidelines are followed

• Checking revised proofs to ensure that all corrections/changes have been made

• Collaborating with other team members including; creative managers and client success managers

   

  Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in English or related field

• Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and ability to handle pressure due to tight deadlines

• Strong proofreading skills/knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation

• Working knowledge of HTML is a plus

• Passion for working in a fast-paced start-up environment, comfortable with continuous change, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and perform duties outside those described

• Results oriented and self-motivated to succeed with a can-do attitude

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
