I’ve been looking for you! Public Relations mastermind, media know-it-all, spreadsheet connoisseur, social media whiz-kid, internet stalker extraordinaire (yes - really) - I’m ready for you to join our team. Rooster Teeth is seeking a Public Relations Intern with a thirst for media relations and social media to join our marketing dream team. You’ll be the owner and master of many, many, many, (take a breath), many media lists, writer of zinging pitches that will bowl over journalists around the world, organizer and coordinator of the many, many, many...many details that go into our events, show launches, press tours, media interviews, and more. This is crash-course in entertainment PR with a tech twist. Get ready.

*CANDIDATES MUST BE CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN COLLEGE RECEIVING CREDIT AND ABLE TO BE ONSITE TO QUALIFY - APPLICANTS THAT DO NOT MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.*

Responsibilities:

• Supporting PR efforts for all of Rooster Teeth including but not limited to trade, sales, programming, talent, thought leadership, live events, local, gaming and e-commerce announcements and projects
• Supporting all integrated marketing efforts with social media, content, and other marketing teams
• Researching and executing special projects as assigned
• Media list creation
• Pitching media via email and phone calls
• Media relations with consumer and business media outlets
• Researching media outlets and writers
• Updating status reports and other reporting materials
• Tracking editorial calendars and identifying editorial opportunities
• Preparing internal decks and presentations as needed
• Assisting in the maintenance and production of support materials such as photos, press kits, and b-roll
• Assisting in coordinating and implementing press conferences and special events

Qualifications:

• Entering or in the process of completing Junior or Senior level college courses
• Have completed at least one relevant internship
• Must be extremely detail oriented, task-driven, and able to complete work on time and with urgency in a more casual environment
• Have a sense of humor and be okay with our content
• Must be passionately dedicated to doing the best possible job for Rooster Teeth in this position
