Senior Customer Touchpoint Planner
Customer Touchpoint Planning is a small yet mighty team that sits at the intersection of Whole Food’s marketing channels and programs. We are responsible for architecting go-to-market and destination plans that bring the full customer experience to life at any given time. Part of Marketing Operations, this team is highly cross-functional working with stakeholders ranging from program managers to channel leads to project managers. This role requires a broad, generalist’s understanding of marketing disciplines including channels, analytics, creative and ecommerce.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Primary developer of monthly go-to-market plans and program strategic alignment
- Responsible for our primary planning tool, Opal:
- Primary contact and driver of the Opal partnership
- How it is configured, organized and used by the team
- Responsible for socializing Opal product innovation and driving adoption
- Distributes seat, leads new user training and owns day-to-day management of the contact
- Leads destination planning
- While destination planning is executed in partnership with Web, SEO and Content, this role owns the decision on what constitutes the best customer experience within our plans
- Owns how the planning process is executed with our channel and business partners
- Determines deadlines within the designating channel planning portions of our larger monthly process
- Authors agenda and leads weekly channel stand ups that address ongoing training, process improvement and communication to our channel partners
- Develops and trains broader team on planning-related SOPs
- Drives decision-making and team focus through solid understanding of the business
- Contributes to monthly reporting including maintaining dashboards, contributing to strategic analysis and applying data-based insights
- Monitors outcomes and incorporates lessons learned into future task / project activity

Education & Experience:
- BA/BS degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Experience within multiple marketing channels
- Proficiency within MS tools, including pivot tables within Excel, Word document formatting and PowerPoint animations
