What is Spreetail

Spreetail is an ecommerce company that currently operates VMInnovations, a multi-marketplace retailer that sells thousands of awesome products through major marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, and Walmart. Spreetail is currently in the middle of building something big, new, and exciting due to launch in 2019 with a simple mission: to make customers’ lives better through exceptionally fast service, great products, and community impact.

Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, Spreetail has recently expanded into two new offices based in Omaha, NE and Austin, TX with rapidly growing teams. We currently have hundreds of employees across the company, and are searching for crazy smart, talented, visionary people.

In this role you'll be given the gift that most social marketers dream of: an amazing brand, blank-slate social channels, and all the resources needed to bring them to life in your own way. You’ll be responsible for building a social media strategy from the ground up focused on creating an engaged community of customers and influencers, and relentlessly optimizing every aspect as we grow.

As a Social Media and Influencer Lead, you will:

• Establish a unique and cutting-edge creative approach to social media that positions Spreetail as a leader and innovator in the home improvement, backyard, and garden space 
• Drive an influencer strategy built on win-win relationships with community experts who have earned an authentic audience that aligns with ours, along with setting us up to rapidly grow a robust network of micro-influencers
• Create brand-consistent organic posts for all relevant platforms and handing off paid media guidance to our growth marketing team (budget, objective, target audience, etc.)
• Develop consensus on effective workflows between creative (visual and copy), growth marketing, and customer experience teams 
• Provide tools and thought leadership for customer experience as they provide 24-7 service to our customers via our social platforms
