REX Real Estate is seeking a VP of Digital Marketing that will focus on shaping the company’s marketing strategy as well as drive the company’s revenue growth. The responsibilities for this role will span brand building, marketing launches of new markets and services, customer acquisition for a suite of services, retention/reactivation, etc. The ideal candidate will build a marketing function for rapid scale that positions REX optimally with consumers, potential hires, and the investor community. The organization will be distinguished by its speed of improving results through iteratively testing, learning and optimizing. 

This opportunity can be based at any of our office locations: Austin, TX / Woodland Hills, CA / Redwood City, CA 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define, develop, and execute customer-focused demand generation programs aimed at optimizing towards long sales cycle of our customers and driving sustainable traffic
  • Track report, analyze, and optimize all lead generation programs based on a comprehensive view of full-funnel analytics.
  • Set marketing goals and overseeing all aspects of marketing initiatives
  • Build, oversee and mentor a high performing team of demand generation experts. Determine team goals and continually track and report KPIs. As a player-coach, lead by example and hold the team accountable for meeting goals.
  • Brand identity, standards and guidelines, and overall Go-To-Market positioning and articulation of our unique value propositions for every consumer facing service, platform and touchpoint
  • Funnel Optimization – Partner with Data Science to analyze and improve conversions in the various stages of the customer journey for both home sellers and buyers 
  • Create and deliver effective presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including executives, partners, clients and the board of directors
  • Design and execute impactful omnichannel marketing campaigns
  • Deliver new methods and ideas to improve customer experience and retention
  • Develop thoughtful communications programming to drive engagement and product adoption at key moments throughout the customer and user lifecycle
  • Effectively work with all levels of leadership to understand goals and audience messaging to collaborate on strategies to achieve financial goals while leading with REX’s voice.
  • Work with team to identify and continually refine target audiences and their unique marketing journeys through testing and optimization.

Job Requirements:

  • 8+ years experience in a performance marketing leadership role with a track record of high-growth in a lead-generation (B2B or B2C) business with a proven track record, preferably in a role that has partnered closely with dedicated sales teams.
  • Channel expert - you’re fluent in Google Ads, FB marketing, tier-1 DPS, various retargeting platforms, email marketing, Google Analytics and all performance marketing KPIs
  • Brand - you have extensive experience in establishing and executing a robust and thoughtful brand strategy that reaches every facet of the business.
  • Experience managing strategic cross-functional projects and process changes
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and manage a marketing team to achieve strategic company objectives 
  • Creative, organized and self-motivated about your work
  • Ability to forecast the marketing funnel, and ensure demand campaigns are measured and optimized to align with sales, budget, and marketing targets
