Lightspeed is on a mission to protect kids online, and we are seeking an ambitious Demand Generation Manager, focused on lead nurturing and automation strategies, to join our team. This person will lead initiatives that drive qualified leads, generate pipeline, and accelerate opportunities for the sales team. All for the purpose of protecting more students and supporting their success in school and beyond.

 

About the Role

Funnel metrics will be your best friend. You’ll have crystal clear lead, opportunity and conversion rate targets and the resources you need to win. You will

  • Own and drive strategies for effective and efficient pre-opportunity, active-opportunity and win-back nurture programs, resulting in more bookings and improved conversion rates
  • Write content for emails, ads, etc to support nurture strategy
  • Identify opportunities for and execute automated nurtures using Pardot, Salesforce, account-based advertising and more
  • Identify opportunities to create more tailored, scalable, and delightful buyer experiences; collaborate with team to execute
  • Take a data-driven test-and-learn approach to quickly iterate and optimize to drive results; identify opportunities to scale the successes
  • Be insatiably curious about the K-12 market, Lightspeed products, and various K-12 personas; research and ask questions to ensure you have the context you need to be successful
  • Seek knowledge and continuous improvement in marketing strategies, business research and beyond to drive best-in-class results
  • Roll up your sleeves for needs we can’t even anticipate yet

This position will report directly to the Director, Demand Gen.

 

What You Need to Have

  • Stellar written communication and project management skills
  • Thorough understanding and practical application of the buyer’s journey
  • Strong work ethic and positive, go-getter attitude
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and Salesforce.com
  • Ability to quickly take what you’ve learned and apply it in new situations
  • Passion for what you do, comfort in a fast-paced work environment and a desire to understand how your work impacts Lightspeed’s success and the safety of students worldwide

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience in SaaS companies and/or K-12 organizations
  • Experience with Pardot specifically  
  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience
