Jointly is on a mission to bring collaboration, transparency, and efficiency to the real estate transaction. Our product saves time, reduces waste and error, and improves the accuracy of real estate contracts. Jointly eliminates duplicative efforts through real-time collaboration on the largest financial transaction of most people's lives. Agents refer to our product as the Turbo Tax for real estate contracts.
We are looking to add a Head of Product to our leadership team who will oversee the product team. Responsibilities are broad and impactful, ranging from staffing and managing a cross functional team, to collaborating with other department heads and driving forward the product roadmap.

You understand that any role in a startup environment is multifaceted - one where you're constantly switching from managing the product backlog, to analyzing requirements, A/B testing with clients, reviewing the latest build, and working with engineers and project management to overcome obstacles.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders and users to deliver a world-class product which realizes the product vision of driving every transaction home
- Maintain a deep understanding of business objectives to ensure outcomes effectively meet strategic and tactical goals
- Develop business requirements, write user stories, define business rules, and ensure stories are complete and ready to be handed off to engineering and implementation
- Enumerate acceptance criteria and write detailed test scripts and manage successful User Acceptance Testing
- Define product metrics, objectives, and KPIs to help guide and measure the success of initiatives
- Spearhead discovery sessions, client interviews, and internal testing to gain insight and maintain an up-to-date backlog of items
- Be the most informed user of the current state of the application. You live in the application and know it forward and backward
- Identify proactive solutions to potential issues which satisfy both users' needs and company constraints
- Collaborate with Engineers, QA, TPM's, and Config to ensure the experiences delivered hit the mark and are of the highest quality
- Assist Marketing with release notes and product briefs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Ability to correctly prioritize based on data, user insights, and instinct.
- High level of cognitive empathy
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly attain high levels of business and product acumen for a medium complexity app in an opaque industry
- Outstanding communication, presentation and organizational skills
- Minimum of 4 years of delivering innovative products
- Incredibly resourceful with a track record of developing creative solutions given limited resources and time
- Strong technical background in product development and/or software development
- Deep understanding of UX design patterns
- Knowledge of Real Estate industry a major plus
