InsideView is looking for a data evangelist with deep experience defining product strategy, developing new data products, and creating new revenue streams

Job Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain InsideView’s data assets (IP and underlying technology)

  • Own customer, competitor, and market research

  • Define data strategy, bringing customer feedback and pain points forward in prioritization, data definition, and content roadmap development

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage data partnerships aligned with content roadmap 

  • Define and drive data and content KPIs ensuring that the vision is understood and agreed-upon across content teams, engineers, and architects

  • Work closely with sales engineers, professional services, and other product managers to define the most important problems, define solutions, and help drive cross functional solutions to deliver a “whole product experience” for customers

  • Work closely with the Professional Services team to deliver key strategic projects to test and validate hypotheses regarding potential new data features

  • As our data evangelist, define a compelling data story and represent the company at industry events, in analyst and press briefings, and with key customers

  • Understand and continuously gather intelligence about the current and future trends in B2B data and intelligence in order to deliver innovation

This position reports to our VP of Products. 

About You

  • Experience working with highly motivated/high performing product development teams with emphasis on data processing and data aggregation methodologies

  • Broad knowledge of the B2B data landscape with a successful track record evaluating, negotiating, and managing data partnerships 

  • Technical competency and demonstrated leadership in enterprise-level implementation of data-driven solutions (e.g. data warehouse, big data processing, ETL/MDM tools, business intelligence)

  • Domain expertise in applications that leverage data and decision science to enhance customer engagement and application experience

  • Passionate and knowledgeable about machine learning techniques including decision trees, time series, text analysis, NLP, etc.

  • Great analytical skills and product prioritization decision-making

  • Experience with agile, scrum, project management, and story-drafting

  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken

  • Comfort/skill presenting to both internal and external audiences, from executive decision makers to technical personnel

  • Experience working with colleagues across time zones (San Francisco, Austin, Hyderabad)

  • Ability to write concise and clear definitions (user stories) of prioritized features for technical team implementation

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and highly engaged in work

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and change

Required Experience/Education

  • Minimum 5+ years product management in SaaS / B2B data, 10+ years preferred

  • Experience in business development and partnerships preferred

  • BS/BA in computer science or similar technical discipline preferred. Relevant big data experience considered

  • Experience working with distributed team across time zones/locations, bonus for previously working with teams in India

Travel

20% travel, including internationally
