RigUp is the fastest growing tech startup in the fastest growing energy labor marketplace. We're seeking an experienced product manager with expertise in Invoicing, AP integrations, & Data Analysis for specialized processes and systems.

You must have working knowledge of the invoicing, purchasing to payment analysis, and reporting needs. For this specific role, you will help lead one of the most valuable opportunities within RigUp’s Payments product line - facilitating the delivery and support of best-in-class Accounts Payable integrations with strategic external solutions. These integrations are fundamental to the success of our clients who need to efficiently sync data between RigUp and their solutions for finance, accounting and ERP. You will drive the analysis of payments and invoicing data used to assess supplier performance and enable businesses to analyze vendor quality, speed and cost. You will also analyze DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) factors and invoice variances (data volumes, rates, & extended amounts) determining their validity to make invoicing decisions as well as decisions on how this data affects the RigUp marketplace. We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented leader to step into this technical role and lead the delivery of these critical features to market.

You must have a track record of being detailed oriented, be able to manage competing priorities and demonstrate the ability to meet project deadlines. To do that, you’ll meet with customers in their native environments, solicit feedback from internal market-facing teams, collaborate with internal and external development partners, and participate in daily standups and releases with UX & engineering.

What You'll Do

You’ll develop strong quantitative and qualitative understanding of RigUp customers needs for invoicing across user segments, geographies, and platforms

You’ll ensures integrity of data flowing into billing systems is accurate and complete

You’ll lead the ideation and technical development of innovative enterprise software to streamline and automate invoice-to-cash processes

You’ll work with internal business groups to acquire a deep understanding of their processes

You’ll define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products across the RigUp portfolio

You’ll lead product discovery with clients and client facing teams to inform future strategy and enhance current solutions

You’ll execute product strategy within a high-velocity agile environment that delivers value quickly and iterates based on user feedback.

You’ll develop deep expertise in key aspects of our product, market, and competitive landscape over your first few months, establishing yourself as a product leader on the team and growing our continuous improvement culture.

You'll drive the product roadmap and strategy for a broad area of the platform. You'll be responsible for establishing key metrics and ensuring that the team meets or exceeds company goals.

You’ll be thrown into a product development team that moves fast, values failure when it teaches us something, and wants people to solve problems. You’ll thrive as someone who learns quickly, works well independently and with others, and above all gets stuff done.

You’ll be committed to demonstrating results. You’re able to drive ruthless prioritization to ensure we’re shipping products that are delivering value to our users. Most likely, you are a strong advocate for good design, data driven decision making, user research or something similar.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of software product management experience

Experience working in an early stage or growth stage software company

Knowledge of accounting principles, revenue accounting, invoicing, and payments

Own the constant delivery of features and enhancements to increase the value of our strategic AP integrations

Customer empathy - understand our customers’ ‘why’

Correlate end user product issues and modifications to general component of underlying product architecture

Collaborative mindset - Get buy-in from stakeholders and peers

Outstanding product and design sense

Proven ability to lead through influence and inspire across departments to reach ambitious goals

Proven ability to internalize high-levels of detail and effectively communicate (both written and verbal) to a variety of audiences

Analytical mindset and ability to make decisions and demonstrate results based on data

Must be willing to travel 10-20% domestically on average

An interest in the energy industry and other industrial verticals

Experience growing online marketplaces

Programming experience with a scripting language (Ruby, Python, etc) and/or SQL
