First Dollar is building the “Stripe for Healthcare” – a modern platform for consumer directed benefits that enables health plans, TPAs and benefits administrators to deliver market leading benefits for their individual and employer customers. Founded by a repeat founding team with prior exits to athenahealth and Expedia, First Dollar has ambitious plans to make healthcare work as it should by improving how people pay for it.

At First Dollar, Product Management is an extremely collaborative effort between engineering, design, analytics and customer-facing teams. You’d join an existing team of product-minded people who have a track record of successfully building large-scale products that have been deployed around the world. Our ideal Senior Product Manager has built products for scaling businesses with various stakeholders (from founders to finance teams), cares deeply about building for and working with customers, has extreme attention to detail, concisely communicates complex concepts, and is equally excited about financial correctness as well as beautiful product UX.

As an early team member, you will be on the ground floor of building First Dollar’s health savings, investment, and payment products, designing product strategy, creating a great user experience from complex financial requirements, and will gain exposure to a wide range of challenges. You will be a product owner on a small team that we expect to grow quickly as we continue to rapidly scale, and you'll collaborate closely with our engineering team based in Austin, TX.

You will work on:

• Lead development of our Partner App, our primary tool used by employers, brokers, and administrators to create and manage the benefits they deploy to members such as HSAs, FSAs, HRAs, Dependent Care, Wellness, and more.
• Manage operational improvements to ensure successful customer onboarding, maximal utilization, and seamless change management.

Requirements

You may be a fit if:

• 5+ years of experience in a consumer or enterprise product management role
• Experience managing software products from idea to ship date and have an entrepreneurial drive
• Beyond just shipping new products, you obsess about continuous product improvement and can optimize for shipping a portfolio of sm, md & lg releases
• Creative product thinker who loves collaborating across the company with engineering, analytics, marketing, design and sales
• Motivated by the chance to improve the lives of your customers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precisely articulating customer problems
• Do whatever it takes to make your product and team successful, no matter how big or small the issue may be
• Can turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into solid action plans
• Have experience working on financial, healthcare, or e-commerce products
