Job Description Summary

POWER BETTER DECISIONS AND CONNECTIONS WITH INDUSTRY-LEADING CLOUD TECHNOLOGY. We’re accelerating digital transformation for the insurance and automotive industries with our AI, IoT and workflow solutions. CCC is looking for a Technical Product Owner to join our team in Austin Texas. The successful candidate has a strong technical background with a knowledge of APIs and service-based platforms. He or she will be responsible for decomposing the technical scope of work into manageable requirements and then working with both business and development resources to design a unified platform for all of CCC's customer facing products. The candidate must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with both developers and the business throughout all of CCC. This is a great time to join the Unified Platform Team from the ground floor of this effort as part of the original team. We are looking for an organized self-starter to help launch this new and exciting work!

Job Duties

  • Primary focus is to rebuild CCC’s customer facing products and the backend systems supporting those products as one unified API first platform
  • Work with senior management to decompose high level scope items and translate them into actionable technical requirements for engineering teams
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and product management.  Requires the ability to elucidate to product management how APIs will realize product strategies. Must be able to provide guidance to technical teams on API strategy.
  • Manage and prioritize technical requirements and ongoing efforts related to multiple smaller projects that roll up into a large coordinated program

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field
  • 5-8 + years of relevant systems analyst and/or business analysis experience
  • Understands technology trends in the industry and uses this knowledge to develop innovative solutions to enhance CCC’s competitive edge
  • Knowledge of API design, understanding of developer’s usage of APIs, ability to compose APIs into API products
  • Requirements authoring/management, Use Case Authoring, Workflow Diagramming, Data Dictionary Authoring, Basic Project Planning and Management
  • Understanding of developer ecosystems and API marketplaces
  • Proven experience with agile methodologies and best practices
  • Must be able to work with teams in disparate time zones
