Treasury Onboarding Product Manager
The Product Manager is responsible for the product lifecycle of Q2’s Treasury Onboarding product - including strategic planning, feature analysis and prioritization, sales and marketing enablement, and documentation for his/her product portfolio. The Product Manager works with customers, prospects and internal stakeholders – business analysts, sales managers, sales engineers, implementation specialists and support personnel – to define the strategic product roadmap, define/support go-to-market strategy, identify strategic partnership opportunities, prioritize key feature requirements and manage software delivery. The Product Manager is responsible for detailed analysis and prioritization of business and technical requirements for new product features and enhancements to existing features related to his/her product portfolio, as well as detailed analysis and translation of improvements and defects for engineering. The Product Manager also supports cross-functional teams within the organization, including Sales, Marketing, Delivery and Support.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for strategic product roadmap
- Collaborates with the VP of Product Management, leadership team and internal stakeholders to align long-term product roadmap with company strategy
- Manages feature analysis, solution design and product development activities, including the following:
- Defining, analyzing and translating detailed business requirements for engineering
- Providing detailed analysis and translation of bugs and defects for engineering
- Prioritizing product feature requirements and development tasks
- Managing product feature backlog
- Reviews metrics to determine customer satisfaction, feature adoption, churn/burn, development velocity, defect percentage, and delivery rate.
- Responsible for sales, services and partner enablement and support activities, including the following:
- Communicating product and feature development commitments
- Defining product roadmap and feature delivery timeline
- Coordinating product launch and release activities, including the following:
- Internal product training
- Generating sales tools, messaging, marketing material and website content
- Coordinating product demonstration environments and scripts
- Coordinating internal, customer-facing and partner product documentation
- Performing internal and customer-facing release demonstrations
- Conducting roundtable discussions with sales, services and partners to continually improve and refine enablement strategy
- Designing and performing customized product demonstrations for strategic prospects and customers
- Participating in sales discussion and presentations with strategic prospects and customers to support direct and partner sales opportunities
- Providing product expertise to in-flight projects and implementation
- Works closely with Professional Services leadership to align implementation and delivery strategies and delivery fast, low cost implementations.
- Responsible for industry, market and competitive analysis
- Consistently reviews Salesforce.com product notifications and release documentation, participates in Salesforce user groups and maintains a high level of expertise with the Salesforce platform
- Consistently researches industry and technology trends, and reviews professional publications within each supported vertical market
- Participates in special projects as required
Skills and Qualifications
- 10+ years’ experience managing a product portfolio (or relevant experience)
- 5+ years working in a Treasury/Commercial Services role at a bank or credit union
- Knowledgeable about cloud technology
- Salesforce experience is a plus
- Proficiency with business analysis and solution design
- Experience with project, sprint and/or release planning
- Experience defining product strategy is a plus
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- This position requires some travel to customer and non-customer sites in the U.S.
