The Senior Project Manager will be a strategic leader owning our Project Management Office at Modernize. They will be responsible for managing comprehensive projects that span across the entire organization. This role involves overseeing two major initiatives: a strategic project aimed at implementing comprehensive changes to support new product launches this year and the management of additional prioritized initiatives that tie into our strategic goals for the business. The successful candidate will also manage a direct report leading the Trade Expansion efforts and handling logistical aspects of our business.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the execution of a strategic project aimed at introducing new products and services across the business. This project is expected to span 1-1.5 years and this person will be the Project Manager overseeing the initiative.
  • Manage and prioritize additional initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals, with a focus on Trade Expansion and other key projects as they arise.
  • Provide leadership and direction to a direct report managing the Trade Expansion efforts, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and efficient resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement project management methodologies, best practices, and standards within the PMO to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and execution of projects, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary to mitigate impacts on project delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management and key stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, with 3+ years in a senior or leadership role within a PMO or product management experience
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, strategic projects from inception to completion, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.



The expected salary range for this position is $90,000 USD to $110,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.

Flexibility for occasional travel to different offices or events is essential to fulfill the duties of this role. This may include attending meetings, conferences, or training sessions, as well as collaborating with team members or partners in various locations. While travel requirements may vary, candidates should be prepared to engage in occasional travel as needed to support business objectives and foster professional relationships.
