What you will do

The Associate Project Manager is responsible for coordinating work through the development team to ensure timely delivery of features on time, in budget and at quality. They actively collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering and QA to make this happen. Other specific responsibilities include:

· Partner with all product development stakeholders to steward and champion our development process

· Work with Engineering & Product leadership to ensure the development plan is complete and releases reflect the planned feature set

· Sync with Engineering and QA to understand the current development plan, and communicate changes to Product & Design so their work plan adapts to reflect those changes

· Ensure stories, specs, wireframes, and comps reflect the current vision for a feature prior to development work commencing

· Create new or edit and enhance existing JIRA Issues, to ensure we are operating efficiently with Engineering & QA

· Participate in Sprint meetings for Engineering, Design, and Product

· Work closely with Product Owners to review feature stories and specs

· Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, and QA teams to identify and help remove blockers by recommending re-prioritization of Sprint commitments

· Help identify areas of risk in the development plan that can be communicated by Product and Engineering leadership to internal and external stakeholders

Candidate qualities

· Associate or Bachelor degree preferred

· Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks

· Strong communication skills, both oral and written

· Strong planning and organizational skills

· 1+ years project management experience, embedded in a multi-functional development team

· Experience in mobile and/or health a plus

· The ability to establish and grow relationships across functional areas inside the company

· Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence

· Energetic, empathic and earnest – you’re the type of person voted “most likely to get up, walk around and check in on people”

Located off of MoPac with entrances to the greenbelt right outside our door. Beautiful unobstructed views of the entire greenbelt and Austin skyline.
