ShipStation is an Austin-based software company that has experienced tremendous growth in the past year. We help thousands of customers who sell online using Amazon, eBay, Magento, Volusion, BigCommerce, Shopify, Etsy, and over 45 other online marketplaces. Our web-based shipping applications streamlines the order fulfillment process for anyone selling on the Internet.

As an Implementation Manager you will deliver a deep understanding of current systems and drive requirements from new Selling Channels and Carriers into the Platform, API’s and Product. This position will oversee implementation projects, completed by ShipStation Engineers, as well as numerous third party contractors, and will be responsible for communication with all stakeholders.

Position Duties (typical monthly, weekly, daily tasks):
1. Project management and execution
- Has overall responsibility for initiating, planning, designing, monitoring, controlling, and closing a project
- Using the basic tenets of project management
- Will provide collaborative leadership to the project team and stakeholders
2. Provide product expertise to product teams and users
- Responsible for explaining the “in’s and out’s” of our products to new integration partners
- Communicates any issues or highly requested feature requests to our product team for review
- Stays well versed in our product and industry
3. Comprise data analysis tools and reporting for internal and external partners
- Collaborate with the data team to create reports and dashboards in looker
- Analyze and report on partner initiatives
- Oversee internal and external Partner data requests to completion
4. Technical problem solving
- Establish and maintain a technical implementation process and technical documentation
- Assist each new client with a successful API implementation

Required Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Two or more years prior project management experience
• Experience interfacing directly with external customers
• Technical background or experience with complex applications and products

Skills and Knowledge:
• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, self-starter, and ability to multi-task to meet defined deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Project management methodology
• Strong ability to proactively identify and resolve problems/issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
