The DISCO Project Director leads teams of Project Managers to ensure successful client delivery for all project management services on the team. The Project Director will work with clients on an account level to understand objectives, needs, and desired outcomes. From kick-off to case closeout, you and your team are the ones who help customers get the most value out of their DISCO solution. This is a remote position.

Your Impact

  • You will be the primary point of contact for many DISCO clients. As a result, you will have a major impact on the client’s journey
  • You will work very closely with DISCO’s account teams to ensure our customers are having a positive and successful experience
  • You will work closely with your Professional Services leadership to manage team performance, bandwidth for client work, and task delegation across functions
  • You will work closely with the Product team and will be an important part of sharing our customer insights to enhance the product

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for ensuring successful delivery of project management services for the team
  • Act as an account level project management lead, partnering with Professional Services leadership and sales to understand opportunities for services growth within the assigned set of accounts 
  • Serve as a leader of the team by assessing and developing employees through continuous training and mentoring
  • Acquire necessary information and find resolutions around team escalations 
  • Ensure workload balancing and project assignment amongst the team
  • Participate in process and continuous improvement initiatives across organization
  • Coach team members to standardize and improve the customer experience
  • Serve as primary point of contact  to manage client data through the ediscovery lifecycle
  • Create review workflows and administer DISCO databases
  • Develop advanced knowledge of the DISCO platform and its capabilities in order to advise and coach clients on best practices for early data assessment, document review, production, depositions, and trial
  • Provide high-level consultative input to clients and team members, with an emphasis on understanding and utilizing DISCO’s advanced workflows, such as Artificial Intelligence
  • Act as DISCO ambassador to clients and at client functions
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for your team’s clients, listening to their feedback and working with your team to resolve to the customers’ satisfaction.
  • Build rapport and establish open communication with clients regarding DISCO usage, status reporting, and core product functionality
  • Deliver product training to attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support specialists
  • Provide feedback and feature requests to the product and engineering teams
  • Collaborate with other Project Managers and DISCO team members to improve process, share client insights and deliver excellence to DISCO’s clients
  • Encourage and enable delegation of requests to Disco Desk team members through continuous training of project-related tasks, such as processing and review workflow, productions, etc.
  • Participate in personal professional development across the department
  • Embody company values to team members and cross-departmentally

Who You Are

  • Minimum of 5 years of ediscovery project management experience with at least 1 year of project manager team lead experience 
  • Deep knowledge of one or more industry standard ediscovery platforms, such as DISCO, Relativity, Recommind, or Concordance 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on detail, organization, and responsiveness
  • Successfully able to manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical-thinking skills to troubleshoot technical challenges and craft creative solutions
  • Committed to providing excellent service and support, both internally and externally
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, scope, and technology
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Even Better If You Have…

  • Have worked at a Consulting firm or provided consultative solutions in ediscovery
  • Achievement of the DISCO Project Management certification (strong preference for internal applicants)
  • Are certified in other ediscovery platforms and applications, such as Relativity, Nuix, LAW, or Brainspace
  • Have a JD
  • Have worked for a software company
