Our team is in search of a Project Manager to help us evolve Planoly and continue to deliver simple and easy to use products. Your goal is to build bridges across Planoly to ensure projects are effectively developed, integrated and deployed with quality and on time delivery. 

What you’ll do:

• Plan the release windows and cycles across PLANOLY’s software engineering teams
• Manage risk and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
• Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time.
• Coordinate releases and ensure release checklists are completed
• Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes.
• Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
• Prepare and distribute release reporting each sprint
• Contribute to continual improvements of our release process
• Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities, including the execution of the deployment plans and checklists.
• Maintain a release repository and manage key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists
• Removes blockers or impediments that hinder project progress
• Monitor sprint progress to ensure timeliness and goals are met
• Help team estimate and increase velocity
• Promote continuous communication across the company to ensure the success of our product releases and branding of updates and new products
• Facilitates sprint planning and other scrum meetings
• Monitor and help improve team dynamics
• Report directly to the VP of Engineering
• Other activities as directed

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of previous project management, release management, or software engineering experience preferred
• Solid understanding of project management principles, scrum/agile highly preferred
• Formal training in project management practices preferred, PMP very helpful
• Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
• Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must
