Technical E-commerce Project Manager
We are looking for a Technical Ecommerce Project Manager to ensure successful scoping, implementation, and delivery of technical solutions for several ecommerce teams. Reporting to the Director of PMO, this role is a critical link between product, engineering, QA, and marketing. You should be skilled at partnering with stakeholders to ensure milestones are clearly defined and documented and you will be critical in driving progress of the work.

ABOUT YOUR NEW TEAM
The Aceable PMO team is redefining how a PMO functions in an organization. Our team enables success across the entire company. In some cases, that means researching and documenting state regulations, in other instances, it’s cross-functional waterfall project management, and in yet other cases, it’s coordinating the technical implementation of ecommerce tests and solutions across multiple product lines using Agile methodologies. We also have members of our team who are scrum masters embedded in the engineering teams.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Execute operationally against day to day issues
- Work with product management to drive roadmap items to fruition
- Use established project management methodologies/tools, work with team to successfully manage complex project scopes of work(s), which include – defining work effort and estimates, developing effective team execution plan(s), supporting teamwork effort by removing impediments, anticipating issues, and ensuring that the right parties are engaged to resolve problems. Assists in tracking burn analysis, team velocity, etc.
- Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Raise issues early to resolve them to closure
- Plan, monitor, and track delivery of quality control and take corrective action as appropriate
- Work in coordination with the director to develop project policy, procedures, and standards
- Communicate project information to all project team members, stakeholders, and DevOps managers, as appropriate
- Plan and execute pre and post implementation, keeps change log updated
- Anticipate strategic impact to projects (inter dependencies to/from other projects) Coordinate with appropriate parties
- Support special projects as requested by management as needed based upon expertise required for difficult or complex problems
- Assist in determining project budget (resources) and project team capacity
- Demonstrate good judgment and depth of experience in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
- Understand project thoroughly and the cause and effect of team decisions
- Recommend project strategy. Clearly articulate explanations of complex regulatory and project issues/risks to team members and management within the organization.
- Orchestrate across multiple areas meetings to develop risk mitigation strategies and address critical issues.
- Build effective partnerships with marketing stakeholders, developers, QA Team, and product managers.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with team and management.
- Provide leadership and encourage teamwork throughout all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and QA managers to identify ways to resolve critical problems.
- Elevate project issues to Director of PMO
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 4+ years of relevant ecomm project management experience
- Prior ecommerce agency experience in a Project Manager or Producer role
- Proven track record of delivering successful ecommerce projects
- Strong command of standard Project Management methodologies such as Waterfall or Agile
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills between both the stakeholders and all levels within the organization are required
- Have a love for process and exceptional attention to detail
- Enjoy a challenge and are eager to grow
- Enjoy fostering and developing strong relationships between the members of your team and stakeholders to deliver upon project requirements efficiently and effectively
