Technical Learning and Organization Development Lead
Atlassian is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. Job Summary
Atlassian’s Customer Success and Innovation (CSI) team, is looking for a Technical L+D leader who will be responsible for developing and delivering technical enablement and growth programming to our customer-facing service delivery teams. You will be working closely with people managers, subject matter experts, and our central talent and people teams to plan, source, organize, and deliver ongoing growth and enablement based content. This role is about championing our people and their long-term learning and development to support a fast-paced and ever-changing technology landscape. This role will be the primary liaison with the people teams ( via our HRBP) for driving clear career leveling, onboarding, and growth planning across the CSI organization. Day to day responsibilities will include:
Cross-Functional Advisor
- Building relationships with key stakeholders, understanding the goals and strategies of the organization and function, and how individual, team, management, and leadership performance impacts the performance of the organization.
- When needed, perform needs assessments and analyses to identify and prioritize opportunities to identify and improve gaps in behavior-based, skill-based, and technical knowledge competencies.
- Setting clear expectations for the development and implementation of learning and organization development solutions with stakeholders and partners
- A trusted advisor and thought partner to functional/organizational leadership and HRBPs.
Learning and Development (Instructional Design + Program Management + Facilitation)
- Partnering closely with leadership and HRBPs to identify and align on learning needs, strategies, and tactics.
- Designing, developing, and implementing learning strategies and programs that will address business needs, identifying learning needs as well as helping to navigate Atlassian’s unique culture.
- Facilitating learning and development across multiple delivery mediums, including in-person training, virtual training, e-learning, and innovative strategies as well as creating ways to assess impact and success.
- Strong "stage presence" and solid command of audiences large and small. Comfortable facilitating discussions on ambiguous or challenging topics.
Organization Development (Change Management, Team Effectiveness, Leadership Development)
- Creating, leveraging, and implementing organization development interventions across our customer-facing technical teams
- Working autonomously to partner with the HRBPs to design and facilitate team building/effectiveness interventions and offsites
- Collaborating with HRBPs and Inclusion & Diversity partners to support change management, business, and cultural transformation efforts.
It'd be great to have:
- 7+ years of experience in Human Resources Leadership Development, Talent Development / Talent Management, Organizational Development or related field
- 3+ years of experience in technical training at a SaaS company, or professional services organization
- Strong instructional design/adult learning principles, to deliver learning and organization development programs and interventions
- Strong project planning, project management, and content delivery skills.
- Experience using survey and assessment tools to identify business needs and measure the effectiveness of solutions
- Hands-on experience with Atlassian products
- Hand on Experience with Absorb or similar LMS
- Proven exceptional group process and facilitation skills
