We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager with strong curiosity and ownership, who can work independently to own end-to-end delivery of our product offerings to clients in the United States.

We’re a team focused on end-to-end solutions, within a larger team focused on partner delivery. Our new TPM will work on everything from translating client requirements into deliverables, identifying dependencies across technology and operations, to creating a delivery plan for a given partner. They will also work alongside our existing TPMs (based in the UK) to identify areas for process improvement to enable Babylon to scale better and faster.

We don’t have headquarters. Instead, we operate in a hub working model, so you can be based anywhere in the US (limited to Austin, Bay Area, Denver, Seattle, New York), as long as you have the legal right to work in the location.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

  • Play a leading role in translating partner deliverables into an actionable product roadmap for the team(s), including alignment with other teams
  • Provide day to day oversight of the engineering teams activity to track software delivery progress against long term roadmap
  • Help gather requirements from internal/external stakeholders and work with the analysts to translate them into actionable, digestible actions that all teams involved can deliver
  • Interface with engineering and business owners for project requirements and scope
  • Work collaboratively with other members on cross-functional teams to create process efficiencies
  • Define schedules, resource plans, and integration plans. Prioritize initiatives, and proactively identify/address potential setbacks/blockers
  • Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases
  • Balance the business needs with technical constraints by building deep subject matter expertise for your area. In particular, build awareness for software development processes within the business.
  • Proactively identify efficiency gaps and create processes that enable teams to move quickly and efficiently
  • Drive the integration of new partners into our platform providing technical support and configuration for them to access our services
  • Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality software solutions and features within a fast-paced Agile environment
  • Become the point person for all technical questions and answers as part of the project, helping drive data-driven decisions
  • Contribute to the product vision for our partner strategy

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 4+ years of experience in advanced technical management roles, focused on program and/or delivery, ideally in a technology or software development environment
  • Experience planning and managing end-to-end delivery of programs
  • Experience initiating, scoping, planning, resourcing, executing, and delivering end-to-end, cross-functional technical projects and/or programs
  • Experience capturing high-level stakeholder requirements across various levels of seniority and functions, translating them into precise technical deliverables
  • Ability to own deliverables under pressure and ambiguity
  • Ability to take initiative and ownership in a constantly-changing work environment and adopt a generalist do-what-it-takes mindset
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across all levels of seniority and leadership
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information effectively to a range of audiences
  • Knowledge of tools (i.e. Jira, Miro, Confluence,Github etc.), as well as best practices in prioritization, agile processes, and delivery management.
  • Bachelor’s degree

NICE TO HAVE

  • Previous experience in a Technical Program Management role in client delivery
  • Experience managing both technical and operational deliverables for end-to-end deliveries
  • A keen interest in learning new technologies
  • Experience in healthcare or health technology
  • Experience working in a global tech scale-up with distributed, remote-first teams
