JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, high caliber Senior Education Program Specialist to support, and track customer facing programs as part of the professional education team onsite in Austin, TX.

The Abbott Sr. Education Program Specialist will be responsible for supporting the CRM Educators and Education leads to deliver programs and projects to successfully educate multiple audiences including Healthcare Professionals (HCP) and the Allied Health professionals across the entire CRM portfolio.

What You'll Work On

Using strong organizational skills and agility, the incumbent will be responsible to coordinate Educational events, Customer Visits, Advisory Boards and other programs. This includes but is not limited to planning, reserving resources, inviting team members, assembling agendas, coordinating travel and local logistics, catering, setting up events, greeting customers, collecting meeting feedback, and closing out events.

Work will also focus on making all encounters, programs and reporting as efficient, cost effective, and comprehensive as possible and contributing to an environment of continuous improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in CRM Education events/visits including setup/cleanup (i.e. printed materials and product specific materials, equipment setup, attendee sign-ins, etc.); greeting customers (as requested) and with closing actions (i.e. documentation, etc.)
  • Coordinate meetings and programs including Animal Labs. (includes F&B, travel as appropriate)
  • Provide accurate, timely communications information to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Support tracking activities for field team members being trained/signed off
  • Manage MSA and SOW process for CRM Education team.
  • Communicate with the other Global Coordinators regarding LMS activities and best practices.
  • Develop checklists and document procedures for CRM Education's seamless and compliant program/event execution.
  • Take initiative and use independent judgment to manage all meeting logistics on time and within budget.
  • Support a culture of best practices, continuous improvements, and efficiency by constantly seeking to enhance Education Operations to drive efficiencies, scalability, and compliance.
  • Partner with the respective Ethics & Compliance and Legal departments, to ensure compliance of all activities.
  • Monitor and enforce all Abbott Business Conduct standards and regulations as they pertain to HCP programs and ensure all programs follow AdvaMed, Sunshine reporting, state laws, and association guidelines

    Comply with global regulations and requirements, company policy, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments

  • Ensure personal understanding of all quality policy/system items that are personally applicable and follow all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high-quality work

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience with customer coordination/logistics and meeting planning.
  • Bachelor's degree Exceptional communication skills and professional demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strongly prefer RN or Nursing background, especially in an ER setting.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills with strong attention to details.
  • Proactive problem solving.
  • Able to work independently, make accurate decisions and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Able to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Experience in medical device, healthcare or pharmaceuticals preferred.
  • Experience with event management tools (CVENT, Lanyon, etc) preferred.

The base pay for this position is

$64,000.00 - $128,000.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
