As a Senior Marketing Analyst, you will be crucial in driving data-driven decision-making within the marketing department. This role will involve analyzing channel mix, marketing spend, customer behavior, and campaign performance to provide actionable insights that optimize marketing strategies and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and experience in utilizing various marketing tools and platforms.

 

Location: 

While we are open to remote work across the contingent US, we are still in the process of establishing our company to support work in all states! We’ve recently made the shift from an in-office organization to a hybrid model and love the flexibility it allows our employees. We are set up to support employees who want to be fully remote, in-office only, and a mix of the two. Please note - we will not be supporting work based out of the following states: CA, MA, NY, NJ.

What You'll Do: 

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to optimize marketing campaigns, spending, and strategy.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Lifecycle, and Analytics Engineering stakeholders to build clean, self-serviceable data models.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Lifecycle stakeholders to define experimentation strategy and analyze experiments.
  • Define and monitor key marketing metrics, business KPI’s, and customer behavior to identify cross-functional business growth opportunities.
  • Manage our existing marketing toolkit (i.e. funnel.io, Hightouch) and work with stakeholders to troubleshoot data issues.
  • Effectively communicate findings to technical and non-technical teams, translating complex data into understandable and actionable stories.

What We're Looking For: 

As we evaluate candidates across all roles, we look for folks with a strong sense of ownership, great communication and collaboration skills, and a dedication to continuous improvement.

  • 5+ years of professional analyst experience
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics methodologies, tools, and experimentation statistics
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases, with Python knowledge being a plus
  • Experience with BI platforms (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Hex, Google Analytics)
  • A passion for problem-solving with strong analytical capabilities
  • Ability to proactively identify and prioritize analytics opportunities amidst ambiguity, with a history of delivering data-driven solutions

Experience that will Impress the Heck Out of Us: 

  • B2C (business to consumer) experience
  • Measurement Tools and Marketing Attribution
  • Experience or interest in statistics (e.g. experimental design, regression, t-tests, clustering methods, etc.)
  • Programming experience in Python or R
