The Development Services Department (DSD) assists homeowners, business owners, and contractors when they build, demolish, remodel or perform any type of construction to ensure compliance with applicable city and building codes.

DSD is seeking a motivated individual to develop enhancements, create code fixes, and provide support for DSD’s case management system. This position will take requirements from Business Systems Analysts and turn those requirements into solutions for our department users. This position will also peer review the work of other development staff, as well as work with corporate IT developers to deploy application change requests and reports.

Pay Range: $32.89 – $41.93 per hour

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Limited telework opportunities may exist.

Requirements

Education and/or Equivalent Experience:

• Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in a field related to the job, plus three (3) years of related experience.
• Experience may substitute for education up to four (4) years.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with PL/SQL
• Experience with Oracle databases
• Experience with enterprise system configuration
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Docker
• Experience creating and designing reports
• Ability to travel to more than one work location
