About the Role:
We're looking for a front-end engineer to join our team to lead the improvements of the analytics capability and feature enhancements of our award-winning CrowdStrike Falcon Console. It's an exciting opportunity to influence the direction of our product insights strategy in the cybersecurity space. It's a role that will collaborate closely with Product insights, design and UI engineering teams. If you are passionate about building complex user interfaces, this role is perfect for you.
What You'll Do:
- Build and maintain single page web applications written in JavaScript using Ember.js
- Participate in the code review process for your own code and that of your fellow engineers
- Take initiative and build tools that improve your teams development experience
- Write automated tests for your code
- Continually learn about the ever-evolving challenges and complexities of the cybersecurity industry
- Have fun solving hard problems with an ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Collaborate with multiple teams such as data engineers, backend engineers, product designers and product managers
What You'll Need
- A desire to collaborate closely with engineers, designers, & testers to deliver quality software that solves problems
- A deep understanding of Typescript/Javascript and experience building thick-client applications with modern frameworks such as Ember, React, Angular
- Experience with testing frameworks, tools and methodologies such as QUnit, Mocha & Selenium
- Functional knowledge & interest in developing genuinely accessible interfaces
- Strong HTML & CSS skills, with bonus points for experience with animation, knowledge of approaches to scalable/modular CSS
- Comfortable with Git/version control workflows
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and written formats
Bonus Points:
- Experience with data analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Pendo, Qualtrics
- Moderate understanding of Golang, Kubernetes, AWS and SQL
- General understanding of cloud technologies and how data storage works
- Some exposure to data privacy concepts and regulatory scrutiny
- Previous experience in cyber security or building data intensive apps

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $115,000 - $180,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
