About the Role
A NinjaOne Channel Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales through channel partners, such as distributors, resellers, and system integrators. Your job is to support the channel partners in selling the company's products or services effectively.
Location - Hybrid remote in Austin, TX (In the office 3 days per week Mon, Tues, & Thurs) Travel as needed.
What You'll be Doing

  • Partner Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with channel partners, understanding their business models, and collaborating to achieve sales targets.
  • Product Knowledge: Developing a deep understanding of the company's products or services and effectively communicating their value propositions to channel partners and customers.
  • Technical Support: Providing pre-sales technical support to channel partners, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and addressing any technical inquiries or concerns.
  • Training and Enablement: Conducting training sessions to educate channel partners on product features, benefits, and sales techniques, enabling them to effectively sell and support the company's offerings.
  • Sales Support: Assisting channel partners in qualifying leads, developing sales strategies, and closing deals. This may involve joint sales calls, customer presentations, and proposal development.
  • Market Analysis: Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide insights and recommendations for improving the company's channel sales strategy.
  • Performance Tracking: Tracking and analyzing sales data, channel partner performance, and market share to evaluate the effectiveness of the channel sales program and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with internal teams such as marketing, product management, and customer support to ensure alignment and effective execution of channel sales initiatives.
  • Overall, a Channel Sales Engineer plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth by leveraging the company's channel partners and ensuring their success in selling the company's products or services.
  • Other duties as needed.


About You

  • 2+ Years' experience as a Sales Engineer
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
  • Proficient in Windows (Windows registry, services, etc.) and have working knowledge of Linux/Mac
  • You exercise sound judgment and prioritize based on partner and customer impact.
  • As a lifelong learner you are adaptable to new technologies and embrace change
  • Polished verbal and written communication skills that deliver messages with a partner first mindset.
  • You skillfully build and maintain relationships, both in-person and virtually
  • You can work independently and with a team in a global environment.
  • Ability to efficiently multi-task with several tools, work independently and prioritize tasks, honor rules of engagement, and follow policies, processes, and procedures.
  • You are highly organized.
  • Driven and Self-motivated you set the pace for yourself and others around you.
  • Customers, clients, and teammates see you as a problem solver that brings all the details to the solution.
