You may know this entrepreneur's name from his famed incubator and accelerator, Capital Factory, but his experience in the startup world goes way back. He began as a pioneer in email marketing and the Founder of OtherInbox. Since then he has become a serial entrepreneur, angel investor and mentor at Capital Factory.

 

Jason Seats

As managing Director of Techstars in Austin, Seats helps startups scale and grow from the very early stages. He is the founder of Slicehost, an early cloud computing hosting company, which was eventually acquired by Rackspace. 

 

Eric Simone

Simone is the founder and CEO of ClearBlade, a company that connects the latest mobile apps to old technology. Simone started his first company, Complete Inc., in Illinois during the 1990s, then eventually moved to Austin after the company was purchased by Proficient. Now he is also a mentor at Capital Factory and an angel investor.

 

Lori Knowlton

As Senior Vice President of Human Resources at HomeAway, Knowlton is part of one of Austin's largest startups. She serves as a Techstars mentor and has an extensive background in software startups and HR leadership. 

 

 

Ben Lamm

Ben Lamm is the co-founder and CEO of Chaotic Moon Studios, a leading mobile product strategy, design, and development firm. He is also the founder Simply Interactive, which was acquired in 2010 by Agile. Lamm serves as board member and co-founder of Team Chaos, a mobile gaming company, and is a Techstars mentor.
