Enterprise risk intelligence and response company AlertMedia announced the appointment of its first president and its first chief AI officer. Alex Vaccaro, who previously served as the company’s chief marketing officer, will take on the role of president, while Eric Curwin, formerly VP of data and AI, will serve as chief AI officer.
In her new role as president, Vaccaro will still support marketing and revenue operations and maintain responsibility for AI strategy. Curwin will work closely with Vacarro to set the architectural standards and security governance for AI systems across AlertMedia’s platform and partner with internal organizations to fuel AI adoption.
“AlertMedia exists to help organizations keep their people safe. Every investment we make in our platform and across our organization is in service of that mission,” Vaccaro said in a statement. “Over the past year, we’ve introduced three new products, including real-time, AI-powered early risk signals as well as unique, agentic capabilities designed to help organizations identify and monitor acute threats to their executives and brands. I’m energized to continue accelerating the rate at which we bring new capabilities to market and ensuring they translate to real impact for the thousands of organizations that rely on us.”
Alongside the appointments of Vacarro and Curwin, AlertMedia announced the promotions of Stuart Gray and John Yarbrough to its executive leadership team as chief customer officer and chief marketing officer, respectively.
