Two Austonian’s have made it onto Inc.’s 2015 30 Under 30 list. The prestigious yearly list attempts to single out young entrepreneurs who are bound for great things. A younger Mark Zuckerberg made the list, as did America’s youngest self-made billionaire, Elizabeth Holmes.

The first Austonian on this year’s list was Adam Lyons (pictured left), founder of the Zebra. The company is often called the ‘Kayak of auto insurance,’ and for good reason. Just like Kayak does for travel, the Zebra allows you to get quotes from over 200 auto insurance providers at once.

The company has been successful, and Lyons, who is 27, apparently talked Marc Cuban into being one of his first investors by simply cold-emailing the investor. The Zebra launched nationally last year, and plans on expanding to other forms of insurance soon.

The other Austonian on the list is Douglas Hanna (pictured right),  the founder of Help.com. The idea behind Help.com is to offer customer service software that can be used by small businesses, but is also scalable to work for corporate behemoths. What’s really amazing though, is that Hanna made the list even though his company hasn’t even launched yet.

The 30 Under 30 list acts as a short list for choosing Inc.’s Coolest Entrepreneur of 2015, a distinction for which the public is encouraged to vote. At the time of writing the Zebra had 25 votes and Help.com had 8 – so click over and vote for your fellow Austonians, they might be your bosses someday.
