About the role
The Public Sector Account Executive role at NinjaOne is responsible for closing new business by selling NinjaOne's products to targeted accounts in our Public Sector space. NinjaOne AEs spend 100% of their time engaging with interested prospects, managing sales cycles to help potential customers evaluate our product, and closing revenue. No prospecting, as we leave that to our world-class SDR and marketing teams. This role will contribute significantly to the success of NinjaOne. You will be responsible for closing small to mid-size Public Sectordeals and helping NinjaOne win within the State & Local Government and Higher Education segment.
Location- Hybrid in Austin, Texas. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday In office
What You'll be Doing

  • Qualify prospective accounts to build and maintain an up-to-date pipeline of prospects in order to achieve annual sales goals.
  • Negotiate opportunity terms, discounts, and implementation with leadership approval for below-threshold discounts.
  • Conduct demos and presentations with prospects.
  • Manage sales cycles to help potential customers evaluate Ninja's product and closing revenue.
  • Provide accurate forecasting to sales leadership regularly
  • Navigate the sales process aligning to SLED prospects and budget to revenue forecast


About You

  • 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably with SaaS products
  • 1+ years experience selling into SLED is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Polished presenter with the ability to demo and navigate technology easily
  • You have confirmed negotiation skills, are a self-starter, and a strong closer with a history of successful over-quota performance
  • Well-organized with a proven ability to multitask, carrying on multiple deals simultaneously to close
  • Works well with a team
  • Experience using Salesforce is highly preferred
